The pointers include different locations from the movie which serve as the Jackpots, and credit values from 400 to 800 credits.

Conclusion
IGT have put in a lot of effort to make sure The Goonies slot does the movie justice while remaining a fun and rewarding slot in itself. There are lots of features available as you can see, but unlike some other slots, I think they’re simple enough to understand very quickly but different enough to make sure the slot stays engaging. There are some big rewards available through the jackpot, and smaller rewards and free spins to keep you going, with everything based on a character or place from the movie. Overall, I think The Goonies slot is entertaining and rewarding enough for most people to enjoy. This one doesn’t do either, thanks mostly to the random bonus in the base game because there’s so many of them and you get some decent returns.
From wild reels to colossal symbols, to guaranteed big wins, the effects are great and the results can be as magical as the film itself.
Strangely it’s in The Goonies slot scatter bonus where it all goes wrong
You’d think that the fact you can win one of 6 bonus features, three of which are some blazing free spin rounds would be awesome right?
Yeah, it’s awesome alright… if you can win any of the awesome features. Because Blueprint Gaming are cruel, and once you’ve got your three scatters (not easy to get) you spin a wheel to win one of the bonuses.
You then get asked if you want to gamble that bonus game for a better one. And here’s the problem: we played for hours, and the only way to get to the top three most high paying bonuses is by trying that gamble feature – which gives you a 50% chance of losing any bonus in the first place.
Oh, sure, you get a little cash, but what you want is One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Treasure! It’s a little torturous to play for real money, to be honest, and just frustrating when after so many hours and so much cash, you’ve yet to see the bigger bonuses.
Still, you get decent wins of 20x to 50x your bet most of the time, so it’s not a major disappointment. Just major frustration for what could have been a truly great Pirate slot machine.

Scatters and Bonuses: 3 Skull and crossbones pirate symbols will trigger a wheel of fortune bonus.
Here you spin to win one of the features below. However, once you win that feature you can gamble it to try and get the next one on the ladder, usually higher paying.
The gamble is a 50/50 wheel where you either win the next feature or just get a small cash prize.
- Fratelli Hideout Bonus: Pick a key to reveal either cash prize, collect, or hidden tunnel (which triggers any one of the other 5 bonus games)

- Goonies Go Wild Free Spins: At the start of each spin one of the top reel symbols will become Wild. Closing thoughts
Personally, we weren't massive fans of this movie when it first came out, so we don't get hit with the same nostalgic notes as we did when reviewing slot games like the Thundercats slot or The Mask by NextGen.
Still, you can't deny that if it's bonuses you want, The Goonies slot on mobile has more than we can count, and far more than you'll probably experience in any one mobile gaming session.
It certainly keeps things from getting boring, even if you can't help but get a little frustrated by the fact that the big bonuses are better hidden than a century-old treasure map.
If you love the movie it's certainly worth a spin, if you don't.. it's still good fun, though be prepared to walk away without feeling wholly satisfied.
